ESPANHA INCRÍVEL COM VULCÃO, PRAIAS, GASTRONOMIA E CULTURA: UM DOS PAÍSES MAIS BONITOS DA EUROPA

Think about a recipe for your next vacation. What ingredients can’t be missing? Natural beauties, from divine beaches to scenarios that seem from another planet. There are several volcanoes in this area, and they are active volcanoes. A history so rich that is able to take you back to the Medieval Era. And mysteries that were hidden along centuries. It was discovered only in 1989. Architecture like you’ve never seen before, and that will definitely intrigue you. There are also stunning palaces, and a work of art that has started to be built centuries ago, is not finished yet, but is able to fascinate anyone. Look at this color, it shines, it looks like fire. How about a generous amount of culture? Some of the most important museums in the world, which keep real treasures of an artist born here. When it’s time to relax, incredible parks, cuisine from all over the world, but with a spice that you only find here. Everything seems so good! And why not some fiction to finish? This one is the famous Bank of Spain, where the Professor ordered the entire troupe from La Casa de Papel to break in. But do you think this one is the real Bank of Spain? It is not what it seems. By air, land, or sea, how about mixing it all and visiting with us one of the most amazing countries in the world? So, stay tuned, because from now, we will show you the reasons to get to know Spain. Traveling around the largest country in Southwestern Europe is getting into the history of a place inhabited for over 35 thousand years. There are theaters built over two millenniums ago, and fortresses that provide impressive panoramic views. Our first stop is in Toledo. This beautiful, medieval, walled city. As soon as we arrive, we are sure that we are going back to the Medieval Era. Lots of staircases, and historical references even in the middle of the street. Look, the statue in honor of Miguel de Cervantes. It was placed here on the fourth centenary of Don Quixote publication. The idea is to spend the day here, walking along the stone streets, observing every detail. We’ve got right here at the top, and look what’s behind me, the Castle of Toledo. In front of it there is a park, with the most beautiful view I’ve seen so far. Cartagena is one of the Roman Period pearls. There is plenty of history here, with relics that are still being discovered. At the tourist information center, the girl said: you know that the biggest part of Cartagena is still burried, don’t you? We’re still digging and discovering new things day after day. And there are some points where you can see the walls, columns, even some very well preserved paintings. Look at this one. Look at the size of this amphitheater, can you imagine that it stayed burried for centuries? It was built in the 1st century BC, but it was discovered only in 1989. How about going up? To go up a lot, to reach the top of Concepcion Castle. It was built in the 13th century, by King Alfonso X, and was used as a great defense strategy for Cartagena during many centuries after that. Malaga also has a historic fortress, the Castle of Gibralfaro. Do you dare to face the climb? I’m broken, sweaty, tired, it’s hot, but the promise was that from up here I would have a beautiful view, and in fact, it’s unfair to complain about that. It is impossible to talk about Spain without mentioning the gastronomy. To taste a little bit of everything, nothing better than to visit the famous markets. At La Boqueria, the Cones de Ramon are the stars. At this market, there is no mortadella sandwich, but there is Cone of Ramon. At Sao Miguel market, there are all kinds of tapas. This one is a stall specialized in Cod tapas. Any of them for E1.50. How about trying one of the most traditional desserts here in Madrid? The pronunciation will be wrong, but it’s called Milhoja Danesa. It’s a puff pastry, filled with cream, with almonds on top, sugar, in other words, it’s surely delicious. Very tasty! It’s unnecessary to say that Spain is full of natural beauties, right? The beaches are among the most heavenly in the world. You’ve definitely heard of Ibiza already. Beautiful, beautiful, this place is beautiful. A place to forget your problems and be, let’s say this way, at ease. When we arrived here, we realized that some parts of this beach is to practice nudism. Most people come here to practice nudism, on this beautiful beach. This place here is really celestial. Look at the color of this water. In the Canary Islands a scenario that seems from another planet. On this side, the beach, below there. And on this side, our object of desire, the volcano Teide. From sea level to over 3,000 meters of altitude, in a few minutes, to come face to face with the third highest volcano in the world. But this is not the only volcano here, there are several volcanoes in this area, and they are active volcanoes. So they are always being monitored, studied, because they can erupt again. The last eruption recorded here on the island was in 1909. But, as you walk along, you see volcanic rocks all around. The landscape is really unique, it’s very beautiful, you’re at a super high altitude, walking through this vegetation, which for sure you won’t find anywhere. Have a look at this stone city. Surely you’ve never seen anything like that. After only 15 minutes on the road, we’ve arrived at this incredible place, called Los Roques de Garcia, which are these impressive rock formations. And the one in the middle, with a different shape, is known as one of the most interesting formations all over Spain. It’s called Roque Cinchado. There is a trail for you to follow, in order to see all the formations closer and better, see the sunset, it’s really worth it. When it comes to architecture, the biggest cities in Spain excel. Just take a walk and you’ll find impressive buildings. Our first stops are in the capital, Madrid. We are in front of the Royal Palace, in the center of Madrid, and look, a nice tip is that you can visit the inside of the Royal Palace. Every day, from 4 pm to 5 pm, the palace is open for free to European Union and Latin America citizens. So, brazilians can visit the Royal Palace for free, from 4 pm to 5 pm. Even the most modern buildings are so incredible, that they are chosen to be the scenery for most famous works of fiction. This one is the famous Bank of Spain, where the Professor sent the entire troupe of La Casa de Papel to invade. But do you think this one is the real Bank of Spain? It is not what it seems. Do you know what that building is in truth? That building is the New Ministries. It where several government departments are, but there’s nothing to do with the Bank of Spain. This is the real Bank of Spain headquarters. A beautiful building, from the 19th century. The idea, back then, was to have an imposing building, in a noble place, in order to exalt the importance of the institution, the importance of the bank. However, when it comes to architecture, no city in the world compares to Barcelona. After all, the city holds important works of art of one of the most famous modernist artists. Gaudí really was a unique person, a different architect from his generation, and still is, until today. At the famous La Pedrera, a challenge: try to find one single straight line. The entire complex is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It still looks innovative and modern, even though the construction were completed in 1912, more than a hundred years ago. This terrace is completely different from what you’ve seen anywhere else. Plus, there are very beautiful views of the city from here. At Batlló house, the inspiration was nature. Here you can take an interactive tour, and access the creative mind of this brilliant architect. It shows what the place was like before, so, for example, here you have a space, where previously, there was a painting and a vase. Then, you are able to see how this environment, that is empty now, was before, very cool. When you look through the window, you see the tiles there. When you look at the inner courtyard through this glass here, you have an effect, as if you’re looking through the water. Look what a cool effect. Okay, you must be wondering, these two are not even the main works of Gaudí. That is true! And that’s a subject for our next topic. Museums and churches are real Spanish culture guardians. It is easy to find all kinds of art in this multi-cultural country. Starting with Religious Art. The churches around here are much more than religious temples. The Holy Family Church, in Barcelona, is the greatest example of this. Gaudí’s masterpiece began to be built 140 years ago, and is still under construction. But, definitely, it’s different from all other churches you’ve seen. On the outside, there are so many details, that is impossible to see everything. Inside, the feeling is like being in a forest. Look at this color, it shines, it looks like fire. We’re against the light, so it’s hard to show. But look, it shines in an absurd way. And as we’re having the sun hitting the Passion Facade, that’s where it’s red, yellow, orange. On the other side, when the sun is in front of the Nativity Facade, it’s green with blue. So, that’s the tip, come on a sunny day, don’t choose a rainy day, just because the visit is mostly inside, you have to come on a beautiful day, to see this spectacle across the stained glass windows. In the capital, the Cathedral of Almudena is also splendid. It’s a beautiful place, and the view from the Royal Palace is spectacular. Look at this! Even more beautiful in the end of the afternoon. Wonderful! And in Toledo, another magnificent construction. The Cathedral holds precious treasures, and a work of art like you’ve never seen before. This work of art is called Transparent. You see the rays of light up there, and they hit this breathtaking work of art, at the back of the Main Altar. I’ve never seen anything like this. There is a window, and all this painting here. Guys, I don’t know what to say. Malaga Cathedral also has a very special charm. Decorated by Italian artists, it is worth a visit. The official name is La Catedral de La Encarnación, but it’s also known by two other names. The first one is the most common, Cathedral of Malaga, but the second one, it’s known as La Manquita, which means lame, because the south tower of the cathedral has never been finished. The city also has a museum entirely dedicated to the greatest Spanish painter of all times. He was born in Malaga, Spain. Pablo Picasso. But it is another museum, in Madrid, that holds his most important work of art. One of the ten most famous works of art in the world. It was painted in 1937, and is a gigantic work of art, seven meters long and three meters high. It is absolutely forbidden to record or take pictures inside this room. But we got an special permit from the museum, and were allowed to show you everything. If nature was generous with Spain, the men did his part too. The country has amazing parks and squares to enjoy life outdoors. In Barcelona, a space that mixes forms of nature with the unmistakable Gaudí’s architecture. Even the stairs here are made of mosaics. And it’s all rounded shape, right? This makes the work with mosaics even more difficult. It’s really nice indeed! But, when we talk about green areas, Madrid is an example. From the top of El Faro de Moncloa, a beautiful place, but not well known by tourists, you can have this dimension. Over there, near the Royal Palace, is Campo del Moro, the smallest one. Down here, is Parque del Oeste. And the big one, back there, is Casa de Campo. In the famous Retiro Park, space for leisure is abundant. And here at Retiro Park, there’s still an icing on the cake, which you need to visit, a Crystal Palace. Do you know where it is? Exactly on the opposite side of this striking scenario you’re seeing back here. Tiago turn here, turn here that you can see, turn that you can see. Look, look here. Opening the camera. Opening the camera. Haha… A glorious palace, and you can also visit the inside. But the most famous cities in Spain have other surprises. An authentic 2nd century BC Egyptian temple. It wasn’t built here, of course, but it was donated to Madrid, and in 1972, it was opened in a city park. You can visit the inside of the temple, it’s for free, there’s only one line there, because due to reasons of conservation, only 30 people are allowed inside at a time, but it’s really cool. How about ending the night enjoying a light show? Well, after all this, you should be getting ready to pack your bags and travel to Spain, right? Then I have some more good news for you. The country is wide opened to receive Brazilians. You only need to have taken both doses of the vaccine, at least 14 days prior. Any vaccine, ok? It’s really easy to get here, there are even nonstop flights from Brazil. To move around the country is also too easy. Trains are super fast, and connect the main destinations. Not to mention that the coastal cities, as well as the islands, are Cruises routes, which have already returned to operate here.
