We are going up through northern Europe and arriving in Scandinavia. This country is special because it is a new place for us, we’ve never been here before. We have already visited Scandinavia, we have been to all the countries, except one, so far, because we’ve finally arrived in this country that was a dream of ours, Norway, and we are seeing this beautiful city called Bergen from above. Bergen is the second largest city in Norway, and we were really looking forward to going on this Cruise that makes three stops in Norway. We are going to visit three cities, including Bergen, considered the most beautiful in Norway, the most beautiful in the country. We are thrilled indeed. We are getting to know a new country, Norway, a spectacular city that is beautiful even under the rain, even when it is cloudy. Take a look at our wonderful Cruise ship down there. The first one is to see the city from above, look at this wonderful panoramic view. Because the meals are made here, look at the guacamole being prepared for us, and not just in any way, t’s in a very special way, and who’s preparing it is Bruno, he is Brazilian, there’s a Brazilian in the Norwegian Prima crew, and he’s the one coming to prepare fresh guacamole for us. Good morning everyone, it’s six in the morning, we are already awake, looking sleepy, simply because we’re arriving at the most famous fjord in the world. It’s our next stop in Norway, and of course we couldn’t miss seeing the ship sailing through this fjord. Just look at this scenery. I will ask Tiago to turn here, because it really is an impressive fjord, like a pathway of natural beauty. There are some mountains over there, even with a little snow, it’s that kind of panoramic navigation that you have to wake up, no matter what time, to appreciate, it’s really impressive. That’s the magic that happens when you go on these Cruises through such spectacular, beautiful places, it’s amazing. Where are we anyway? As I’ve said, this is the most famous fjord in the world. Some people also say it is the most beautiful place in the world, it is called Geiranger, I believe that is how it is pronounced, We researched a lot about it. It’s written as Geiranger in Portuguese, but in Norway, they pronounce it as Geiranger, as I mentioned. It’s an absolutely unique place. This is the longest stop of this Cruise, it arrives early, at seven in the morning, and leaves only at ten at night, so we have a lot of time to enjoy the place. We are going to do some spectacular tours, even a tour organized by the Cruise, so we can show you what excursions with Norwegian are like. I think it will be nice, the view is wonderful. Let’s take a look. What you see behind me is simply the most beautiful fjord in the world. The day is not so good, but I tell you, I see potential in this landscape here, because even like this, full of mist and fog, it is already beautiful, think about it on a sunny day, blue sky, all these green walls shining. There are only 250 people living here in Geiranger, it is a really small town, but the place is so famous, so beautiful, that every day, in the summer, on average 5,000 people come to visit this region. Look, from here we already get a view of the entire fjord. Check out how beautiful this curve is! So, what is there to do here in Geiranger? Basically, see the fjord. But then, you have options: you can sail through it, which we didn’t choose to do, because the ship simply sails through it to get to the city, look here, it is right at the end of the canal, by the fjord. So we don’t need to take a boat trip, we decided to see it from above. That’s exactly what you have to do when you come on a Cruise to Geiranger, admire the city and the landscapes from above. On this tour, we first went up on the other side and went to a viewpoint to have a view to this point, now we’re doing the opposite, going up really high here in order to admire that other side, both of them really impressive. It’s stunning, one of the most beautiful places in the world. We’ve reached the goal of this tour, the top of Dalsnibba Mountain, if I’m pronouncing it right, we’ll never know, only if there’s a Norwegian there to correct me, but we’ve reached the top to have this splendid view. The weather cooperated a little bit, at least it stopped raining, it cleared up, there is even a bit of light, it’s a little sunny on that mountain over there, it’s the most impressive scenery. I keep saying that I think it’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. It’s unique. I’ve always wanted to come to Norway, I’ve always known it is beautiful, but seeing a place like this with your own eyes is unbelievable, the hand of God touched it and this incredible place was born. It was very easy, as I mentioned, we booked this tour directly with Norwegian. We made three stops at the viewpoint, unfortunately the first two with heavy rain, but we’re being rewarded here. They are so famous that there are souvenirs, magnets, everything about trolls, and some places even have big statues like this one, so you can take really cool photos. A restaurant that we love at Prima and come to all the time is The Local. This restaurant is already included in your Cruise, it’s wonderful, because it’s open from breakfast until late at night, it’s usually open when the others have already closed. Since we’re always late, especially in the morning, we come here for breakfast, and on the days we go on an excursion and arrive late for lunch, when the buffet, for example, is already closed, as well as the other restaurants, this is where we stop. It’s a great option. The service here is à la carte, you choose what you want, and it’s one dish better than the other. We’ve been here many times. I want to show you our table now, and what we’ve chosen for lunch today. For starter there are mini pretzels, we dip in this sauce, it’s delicious, there is also soft bread here. We’ve also ordered nachos, I’ve also ordered spinach sauce, we dip here and eat, and for the main course, pasta, take a look, this is fettuccine carbonara. The seventh day of the Cruise begins with an à la carte breakfast, even with eggs benedict and pancakes with fruit. Outside, the sun is shining, and even with the cold weather, some people ventured into the pool. We’ve taken a tour through the several bars. While trying a drink in each of them, we enjoyed the music in the lounges. Yes, we’ve also gone shopping, from watches to gold chains, you can find that special gift here. This is a long trip, so, we are going to take advantage of the services offered on the ship to do what? Look at the height of these mountains, with this lake, an incredible scenery, I’m putting it on the map so you can see where this city is. It’s an isolated place in Iceland. That’s something nice about a Cruise, you are able to reach places that people don’t normally get to by car, so, we’re having the privilege of getting to know this spectacular isolated region in Iceland.
