On an incredible expedition through Antarctica. Hello guys, good morning. Look at us, feeling cold and starting a new adventure. I would dare to say this is a lifetime adventure. We are in Antarctica. Look at this scenery behind me, simply spectacular. You will follow this entire adventure with us from now on.
An expedition aboard a luxury Cruise Ship. We are aboard Swan Hellenic SH Vega. It will be 11 days from Ushuaia to the icy continent. There’s a lot for you to enjoy, so, if you’re not subscribed to the channel yet, subscribe now, leave your like for this video, share it with friends,
And be welcome to Antártica. Before we show you all the details of our adventure through the icy continent, I’m sure you want to know how we got here, right? Then, let’s go back in time to the starting point of our expedition, in Ushuaia, extreme south of America.
Ushuaia is a city in Argentina with aproximately 50,000 inhabitants. Located in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, it is nicknamed the End of the World, precisely because it is the southernmost city on the planet. It’s a plesant place, full of things to do. So, here goes the first tip, spare a few days
Before or after your expedition to Antarctica, to explore the region. There is already a video on the channel with all our adventures in Ushuaia. After finishing this video, run there to see it. It’s time to show you our hotel, the Wyndham Garden, Hotel del Glaciar. Why is it called like this, huh?
Glaciar means glacier in Spanish. The glacier is back here, really close, the hotel is right at the top, there is a panoramic view, even to the city, and you’ll get to know it from now on. Welcome to our suite at Wyndham Garden Ushuaia, Hotel del Glaciar.
Look at this amazing place, it’s an enormous suite, there is a desk here, we are already using the computer. We get to the beautiful living room, the bedroom is rustic, look how nice. There were these two bottles of water here for us, look, it’s glacier water, pure water, curious, right?
After all, we are at the end of the world, there are a lot of glaciers here, so, there is glacier water, of course. We come to this side and find this huge bedroom, look at the size of this bed,
As you know I’m tall, even though, take a look at the space remaining here, also, this bed is really comfortable, I loved it. By the way, all the rooms here are huge. Let’s go check the view, after all we are in the further hotel on the mountain,
The glacier is right back here, it is a sunny beautiful day, what a special gift to us. Look at this beauty, are you enjoying it? Leave a comment here for us. From the hotel we go straight to the port of Ushuaia, right in the center of the city,
Because it’s time to start our expedition towards Antarctica. Our expedition to Antarctica has officially began, I’m here at the stern, at the back of the ship, to take a glance at Ushuaia, to say farewell to this incredible city,
As we’ve finally left the port, after a delay of an hour and a half, due to a strong wind, it’s almost 11 pm now, and if we turn here we can still see light, look how clear it is, the black part
Is because it’s cloudy, but behind the clouds it’s still blue, the sun has just gone down, it’s a reamrkable special night indeed, seeing that it’s not every day that we take a Cruise on a ship like this, and go towards the end of the world, right?
Let’s start our expedition to Antarctica then, and you’ll follow everything with us from now on. The first part of the journey consists of crossing the long stretch of ocean that lies exactly between the Americas and Antarctica, called Drake Passage.
It is the most unstable maritime zone in the world, look at the map to see where it is. There is no other way to get to Antarctica other than through Drake Passage. I have to tell you that we are lucky today, because there are two
Different Drake Passage conditions, one of them is what they call Drake Lake, when you find everything very calm, believe me, this is very calm, the waves are reaching a maximum of two and a half meters, you can have a calm navigation, I can even stay here outside,
Or there is the other one called Drake Shake, when the ship is really unstable, the waves can reach 10 meters, and then it gets really hard, everything is closed, they have to tie things down, it’s even difficult to walk, it’s dangerous
For you to try to walk, things can fall, you are warned to keep everything inside the closets, that’s why I said that we are lucky today, but this is rare here, doesn’t really happen very often.
Soon I’m going to tell you a few more curiosities, but for now I’m going to take a look at the ocean. We are used to cruising, every ship rocks a little, after all you are at sea, but this one rocks a lot.
We are in a calm moment, and we are feeling it rocking a lot, we even had to take medication for seasickness, they provide you medication on the ship in case you need, they sell those bracelets for you to put on, to tighten, you can
Also bring those stickers that you put behind your ears, anyway, you have to come prepared to face a ship rocking, that may be weak, like this one, but that you feel anyway, or it can be very strong. We strongly hope to find a calm Drake Lake both to go and to return, because
The Drake Passage lasts 48 hours, so, it’s two whole days just rocking, it seems that you’re on a roller coaster one hundred percent of the time, you’ll need to have breakfast, lunch, dinner, sleep, always shaking and bumping, but guys, you have to face it bravely.
If you want to see the most beautiful landscapes in the world you have to suffer a little, right? So let’s continue the journey. As this is actually an Expedition Cruise, it is not an ordinary Cruise, there are obviously several lectures for us to find out curiosities and information about the region,
The environment, and about what we are going to see, that’s why I am speaking down, let me show you, there’s a lecture here about the birds we’re going to see during this trip, and this lecture focused specifically on the Drake Passage, the ocean birds
That we’ll see, those ones that fly hundreds of kilometers far from land. The first days of expedition are also dedicated to preparations for the arrival in Antarctica. First of all, a biosecurity check, to prevent taking any contamination to the mainland. We have to bring all the clothes we are expected to wear during
Outside expeditions, such as hat, gloves, scarf, pants, you have to bring everything for them to inspect one by one, sometimes even vacuum some of them. Time to explore what the ship has to offer. In addition to breakfast, lunch, dinner, how about having tea every afternoon, huh?
From 4 pm to 6 pm, they set up a tasteful buffet here on deck 7, like this one, take a look, there are snacks, there are cookies, there’s even cake. Look how beautiful is this cake. Guys, the atmosphere here is amazing, full of sofas, armchairs, there’s even a fireplace here, look,
And these big windows, it’s a place to sit, relax and enjoy the view. Today the weather is cloudy, so, we can stay here enjoying and eating, of course! I’m arriving at deck 6 to show you something special,
Our cabin, and I have to tell that deck 6 is the highest where there are cabins, on SH Vega there are only three decks with cabins, there are 76 cabins in total, for 152 passengers only, is very exclusive. Welcome to our beautiful and elegant cabin, it’s really well decorated.
Let me start talking about this interesting information, every passenger gets a parka, look at that, it is already on the bed when you get to your cabin. We’ve filled out a form before to inform the size. A parka is actually a warm waterproof jacket for you to wear
During outside expeditions, and after that it’s yours, you take it home and keep it as a souvenir. In addition, there’s a backpack too, a canteen for you to take water, but let’s see the bathroom, over there, show how it is Tiago.
Yes, the bathroom is right at the entrance to the cabin, it is large, nice, and you already notice some differences here from what we are used to, lots of closets in the bathroom, hi, hi, hi , after all, the sea in Antarctica
Is very unstable, so nothing can be loose, everything has to be kept safe. On this side there is a shower, a very large shower on the ceiling, it’s a nice spacious bathroom. There’s no shortage of wardrobes anywhere, look at how much closet space there is here, as Tiago said,
Nothing can be loose, so, if you want to take things out of the suitcases, there’s space for everything, and this is just one side. I need to show you that the decoration here is different, it’s charming, you can see that there’s a fireplace here, look, can you see it Tiago?
I can see it! How pleasant it is, think about lying here, with this cold weather, looking at the mountains, piles of ice passing by, enjoying this beautiful fireplace. However, let me tell you a secret, okay? Do you see this here, look, are you showing it Tiago? I’m showing!
It’s virtual! The fireplace is off! Of course, there won’t be anything burning inside the room, right, but let’s turn it on again. By the way, a curiosity, there are binoculars here, they’ve left binoculars in the cabin for us to observe the wild life, birds, whales, everything, it’s very kind of them.
We’ve brought ours, they’ve recommend it, but the’ve left others here too. In our beautiful, stylish living room there’s this wonderful decoration which is actually edible, there are M&M’s, peanuts, raisins, numerous different things. On this other side, as you can see, there is a small table, more drawers, there’s a telephone, a huge TV.
By the way, this Cruise is all inclusive, so everything is included all the time, even 24-hour Room Service, coffee maker, there’s a fridge here, you can eat and drink anything from the fridge whenever you want that they replace it. And of course, there’s our balcony.
As a matter of fact, almost all the cabins have balconies, there are few of them that don’t have it, after all, this is a luxury Cruise. For now we are not having a good view, it’s not possible to see much, there’s nothing around, it’s cloudy, it’s a bad weather, it’s raining,
But I assure you that soon this landscape is going to change and we’re going to show you everything. So far, it’s horrible outside, but you are going to see countless spectacular images, and numerous beautiful sceneries too. How did you like the cabin? Leave a comment here giving your opinion.
Guys, now that we’re settled, it’s time to unpack, for sure we’re going to fill all the cabin closets, but before that, I want to show you our luggage, which this time is charming, check it out, there’s bag, backpack, laptop cover,
Accessory holder, everything from GoCase, everything properly personalized with the picture that we like the most, as well as with our name, look how nice, Viaje Por Conta printed on all items. We accessed their website, chose the pictures, chose the items, these are mine,
Fábio chose his, and I would like to show you these items better, because in addition to being beautiful they are also practical. I would like to start with this one that we simply love, the Joy Bag, you can take it as a carry-on bag,
Or else it can be placed on top of your suitcase, just like that, there’s this pocket at the back that connects to the suitcase, it doesn’t fall, it’s fantastic, not to mention that inside this pocket you can place everything you need to access quickly, such as your passport and your cell phone.
By the way, look at our cell phone, with a personalized GoCase case as well. Even my laptop cover fits inside the Joy Bag, which is obviously personalized. The laptop is safe here, after all, the bag is all lined. My personalized accessory holder is here too, take a look.
Do you know what’s inside it? Recording equipment, it’s convenient indeed , everything is organized and always at hand. So, here is a precious tip, If you want to travel in style, access the QR Code on your screen to go to GoCase website to create your own personalized travel objects.
With the code VIAJEPORCONTA, you still have an extra discount and free shipping throughout the site. Don’t waste mora time, access the QR Code on your screen and travel in style, just like us, with GoCase products. The expedition’s first stop is at the South Shetland Islands, an archipelago
About 120km far from the Antarctic Peninsula. Our disembarkation was in these little boats, called Zodiacs, which took us to the mainland. We’ve just stepped on land we were immediately welcomed by several penguins, look here, they are very peaceful.
You have to keep a distance of 5 meters from them, this is an international tourism rule here, look how cute they are. Let’s go trekking now, it promises to be good. Now we are going on a 3 km hiking. You can see that some people are already passing here.
There’s a kind of edge of the sea here, we’ll walk all over this part and climb that mountain over there to have a stunning view. They’ve warned us that it’s a quite difficult hiking, you have to be prepared to face it, knowing that it can be hard, sometimes it’s windy a lot,
It is very cold, it is not a steady path, you step on stones, have to open the way, there is a part with snow, even though I’m sure it will be awesome. We are at Half Moon Island, and here, behind me, is Half Moon Bay,
Which gives the island its name, precisely because it is shaped like a half moon. We are in such a special spot, turn with me here, turn with me, because we’ve just seen the first icebergs of the expedition. Can you see them behind me Fábio? They are huge, spectacular.
Let’s keep walking and admiring, because we are absolutely enchanted with this scenery. The path should follow this way, we would keep going up even more, but you can see that there are several birds here, take a look, and there are nests as well,
So we are not allowed to go through here, they even become angry, the human has to respect their space, that’s why we won’t continue through this way, we’ll go back and climb another mountain. Let’s keep moving. There is na Argentine scientific base on Half Moon Island,
That was founded on April 1st, 1953, a long time ago. It is deactivated, the buildings are still here, you can explore everything, get to know it better, which is what we are going to do in a little while, there was even an airstrip over there,
You can still see the demarcation, it is interesting. We have reached the highest point here. In case you’re finding this landscape behind me beautiful, it’s because you still haven’t seen what’s here in front of me.
I’m going to go around very carefully, because there are a lot of stones, take a look at this landscape behind me, it’s striking, rocky mountains and a lot of snow, look at those walls of ice over there. Guys, the view from here is breathtaking.
The sun is up now, causing the snow to shine. Now we’re going down. The second stop of the day is at Deception Bay, still in Shetland Islands. Aboard the Zodiacs, our goal now is to get as close as possible the glaciers and the icebergs. The scenery is really impressive.
However, despite all the beauty, the weather didn’t help, it started to snow heavily, the sea became rough and we had to go back to the ship. Guess where we went to? Straight to our balcony, of course! We keep telling you that Antarctica provides incredible experiences, right.
We are having one of them right now, that kind that takes our breath away. We are really comfortable in our cosy warm cabin, and passing right outside our window is a giant spectacular blue glacier, incredible, you are in a place that few people are able to get to,
And are having this lifetime unique experience, every effort, all the difficulties, everything is absolutely worth it. It’s surprising indeed, during a Cruise, in the middle of nowhere, all of a sudden a scenario like this appears right in front of you, a glacier, it is astonishing.
If one day you have the chance to go on an adventure like this one, don’t think twice, it’s something unique to see such untouched beautiful nature. We are really thrilled to be able to share this experience with you. I will keep admiring this magnificent glacier for a little while,
Because it doesn’t happen every day. On the fifth day of the expedition we’ve reached the coast of the Antarctic Continent. We’re in Curtiss Bay, and the scenery couldn’t be more impressive. Immense walls of ice, and countless giant icebergs. The day dawned sunny, perfect for exploring the region in every way.
First of all, aboard the Zodiacs. The boats make way through the middle of the ice. Incredible formations keep emerging in front of us on and on. Suddenly, something unexpected happens: in front of us, a sea leopard rests on an iceberg. This is the second largest seal species in Antarctica,
It can reach up to three and a half meters in length and 350 kilos. Despite being aggressive at times, this one seems to not mind with our presence at all. Time to get back to the ship, but our visit to Curtiss Bay is not over yet.
We are now on deck 3, where the Base Camp is located, where they keep all the equipment you will use when you get of the boat during the expeditions through Antarctica. One locker is assigned to each cabin, you also get a pair of waterfproof boots to wear outside, look how cool.
In addition to the boots, there are special clothes or those who are going kayaking, check this out guys, it’s a warm waterproof jumpsuit, after all, we’re going to paddle in the icy waters of Antarctica, so it needs to be different, however this is only for kayakers.
Kayaking is super popular, there’s a waiting list, and it’s the only tour that’s not included in your Cruise, okay? It costs 250 dollars, but everyone says it’s an incredible experience to get to see everything up close. That’s exactly what we’re going to do now.
Time to take the Zodiac and head to an area with calm waters. After sailing for about 15 minutes we’ve arrived at a point where the water is very stable, so we can change the boat for the kayaks. This is where the adventure really begins.
There are already many icebergs, the ice is super close, it will be awesome indeed. For those who don’t have much experience in kayaking, the first challenge is to keep balance. It took us a few minutes to be confident that it wasn’t going to capsize,
So, before starting to paddle we stayed a while just admiring the landscape. We finally managed to get ready, time to go explore the place, and look, out of the blue, we’ve got to an area with a lot of ice. You can even taste the ice,
and it is salty, how interesting is that. While here, we can hear a lot of noises, kind of things bursting, small explosions, which is actually oxygen coming out of the ice, curious, isn’t it, look at that. Kayaking is a sport that requires physical preparation, and even in the freezing cold
I confess that we sweat. Believe me, there was no strength remaining to get out of the kayak, take a look at this! Go! Go! Go! Do you want some help there? Give me a hand here! My God… Alright! Turn left! Wait a second! Turn left! I’m going to throw myself here! Aêêê!!!!!!
Every time we get back to the ship there’s something hot waiting for us, this is lemon ginger tea, right Tiago? But you are allowed to add rum to it too. It depends on your goal, but you can! Yes, you can! Let’s warm up the body a bit, it’s absolutely necessary.
While we warm up ourselves, you enjoy more impressive images of our stop, going through places that not even the kayak could reach. Let’s fly with us? I’m going to take advantage of lunchtime to tell you a little about the meals on the Cruise.
Breakfast and lunch are buffet style, you come, serve yourself and enjoy your meals. Dinner, on the other hand, is always à La Carte. In addition, you can choose room service at any of the meals,
Or at any time, you can always order and they serve your meals in your cabin at no additional cost. All the meals take place on deck 4, at Swan Restaurant. The food looks delicious, we’re going to try it now, while enjoying this spectacular view, close to the sea. Let’s eat then.
We’ve stopped at Mikkelsen Harbour, an island surrounded by gigantic glaciers, they are really enormous, we can see here, look, they are much higher than our Cruise ship. We’ve come here to observe a penguin colony. It’s something remarkable to have images of them in the water,
Where they are fast, agile, but then, when they are on land, it’s like a cartoon, they are funny, they run with their wings back, they fall, they trip, it’s comic to see that. During the time observing the penguins, we have to be really careful
To not cross their way, as there is a rule that determines that if they are passing by, you have to stop and let them follow their path, while we keep just observing how funny they are, it’s stunning to be in their environment, isn’t it!
They don’t feel threatened at all, they’re calm and peaceful, seeing that we’re just watching from afar, and what we’re going to take from here are these stricking images and lifetime memories. We are in a noteworthy place now. As you can see, there are several nests
Rround here, lots of penguins hatching some eggs, but there are already nests with chicks too, and we are having the pleasure o see them leave the nests with the chicks, usually one or two, we are seeing them feeding these chicks, it’s marvelous.
It’s a unique opportunity in fact, imagine, you’re in the middle of Antarctica, surrounded by lots of penguin nests, and you are able to witness the chicks being fed by the penguins, it’s stupendous, look at that guys, such an unique opportunity.
We are thrilled, it’s breathtaking, check it out, we will show some images for you. After so many activities, it’s time to enjoy the ship. Then you choose what you like the most. The infinity pool at the stern is a great choice.
You can grab a drink and enjoy it in a lot, with a panoramic view. The jacuzzi is also always warm and is right next to the sauna. Those who prefer to stay in shape can spend a few hours at the gym. But today is also a challenge day:
There is a entertaning tradition during Antarctica Cruises, which is you do the polar plunge, when you jump into the freezing waters of Antarctica only in your swimming suits. Of course we’re going to do it, everyone does it, it’s amazing, and you’re going to follow along with us now. It’s our turn now.
Just to prove how brave we are, the water temperature was one and a half degree at the dive time. My God! Everything being pricked, that’s the feeling, but it’s good, it’s very good.
Uhuhu… victory, I got it, I dived, it’s recorded, no one will be able to deny it, nobody can take that away from me. Guys, diving into these freezing waters it’s an amazing experience. When you dive it’s okay, it’s cool, you think it could be worse,
But after two, three seconds there, you start calling for the rescue, asking them to get you out of here, because you start to feel like needles all over your body, it’s bitterly cold. After that, we immediately ran to Deck 8 to enjoy this wonderful view,
A warm Jacuzzi, you can see the smoke coming out, glaciers in the background, there is no better way to end this adventure in the freezing waters of Antarctica. Spectaular! I’m here at the bow of the ship, the day is starting really early, before 6 am,
Because today we’re going to pass through one of the most spectacular places of the entire Expedition. Guys, these are giant fjords, full of snow, which we will admire, at first, from inside of the ship, and then, we will go down in the Zodiacs to see everything up close.
I’m excited, let’s see how it will be, though I’m sure it will be a wonderful experience. When we arrive in Antarctica, on the continent itself, the main idea s to enjoy the landscape calmly, not to keep quickly changing from one point to another.
Traveling by ship makes this absolutely possible, that’s why it’s sailing slowly, to give us the opportunity to contemplate this unique landscape in the world. The advantage of sailing on a ship about this size, the smaller ones, for few people,
is that they manage to get into places like that, very narrow. This one is a strait, it’s actually a channel, we can really appreciate these mountains on both sides, this awesome canyon of ice. If the ship was bigger, this would never be possible, seeing that the channel
Has a limit, that’s precisely why these kind of excursions, these expeditions, are so dear, people like them so much, because we have the opportunity of exploring different places, of sailing very slowly through a strait like this one. Sometimes it seems that we are reaching a wall, that there is nowhere else to go,
That the path will end up right there and we will have to go back, but it is not like that, there is still a way, let’s keep sailing forward because it is too beautiful. We’re going to cross the Lemaire Canal twice.
To go, everyone stays inside the ship, just admiring the landscape, however the return will be thrilling. Hold on there, we’ll show you more of this spectacular landscape in a little while, because the strait takes us to another impressive point. Time to leave the ship.
Now we’ve boarded the Zodiacs, these little boats, to see the icebergs up close. They’re here behind us, the ship is at the background, the day is beautiful. This tour promises. The next tour of the day is an excepcional one, we’re going to sail with the Zodiac through the Lemaire Channel,
Those beautiful, ice-filled canyons, that we’ve already crossed with the ship and now we’re going to go with the Zodiac. I think it’s going to be stupendous and you are going to follow everything from now on. Crossing the Lemaire Channel behind the ship, aboard the Zodiacs is undoubtedly
The most exciting experience of the entire expedition! Along 11 kilometers it is impossible not to be shocked with the cliffs, glaciers and mountains that reach 1 km in height. The width of the channel varies from 700 to 1600 meters. It is a pleasant, beautiful day, it’s even a little hot, look at this,
No gloves, just a blouse, so, they are serving lunch outside, it’s not going to be served at the restaurant, that’s nice. We are looking at the Antarctic Continent behind us, and if we turn this way, look, lunch is set up right here outside, the buffet, the tables, come here, I’ll show you,
We’re right next to the pool, which is warm by the way, feeling like wanting to go swimming a little, here are the drinks for you to help yourself, and the buffet over there. You are really having lunch outside, awesome. That’s what I call have lunch with a spectacular view. Let’s eat then.
To finish the day, how about taking some time to watch humpback whales? They’ve appeared during the entire expedition, but today they’ve approached the ship as never before. Obviously, we took the binoculars and spent hours admiring this spectacle of nature. The seventh day of expedition reserves several surprises.
On the first outing of the day, a Zodiac tour through Enterprise Island. In addition to seeing gigantic super curious shaped icebergs, we’ll get to the wreck of a Norwegian ship, which caught fire in 1915. Forty meters long, part of it is out of the water, and we can get up close.
However, everyone was really looking forward to going on the second outing of the day. This tour we are starting now is the most expected of the entire expedition, and for a very special reason. Of course, so far everything is about Antarctica, but for the first time we are
Officially stepping on the Antarctic Continent, until now they were islands in the region, not now, now I can say that I’m stepping with my boots in Antarctica for the first time, and we are thrilled, excited and enchanted about it.
We’ve been welcomed in high style, look at these seals that are here behind me, they are the Weddell species, they call them Weddell Seal, and they are here, look, just relaxing, not bothered by our presence at all, on the contrary, some of them are curious, they look at us
Trying to understand what is going on around here. Look at this scenario guys, how striking. I am delighted, happy, and look, even emotive to tell you that we are officially stepping on Antarctica.
I’m going to take advantage of the fact that I’m officially on the Antarctic Continent to answer a doubt that many people have. After all, is it Antartida or Antarctica? As you’ve may have noticed, along this video we’re saying Antarctica the whole time, but Antartida is also correct.
Antarctica is because the Arctic was discovered first, so when this place was discovered it was the anti-arctic. Then, why does Antartida exist? In fact, Antartida only exists in Portuguese, Spanish and Italian, because by the rule of the language, Antartida is a noun, it would be a correct name,
And Antarctica would be an adjective, by the rule the correct one would be Antartida, but the official name is Antarctica, so, both are correct in Portuguese, but researchers, scientific communities only use Antarctica, that’s precisely why we’re using Antarctica only, curious, isn’t it?
The eighth day of the expedition was supposed to stop once more in the South Shetland Islands, but the sea conditions were not favorable and the descents were cancelled. Since there was a forecast of a storm on the way, we quickly left to cross Drake Passage before the waves increased.
I’m sitting on the ship’s captain’s chair, look how cool. I’m at the Bridge, which is how they call the cockpit, with this privileged view to Drake, look at that, it’s really calm, there’s a light swing, and look at the amount of screens, controls, everything you can imagine,
It’s the first time we’re visiting a Bridge, they are very kind for letting us visit here. I even have these binoculars, maybe I catch sight of an iceberg up ahead or a whale, who knows! Guys, this is really cool. By the way, the view from here is wonderful! Look at this!
Let me tell you something nice. We are not showing the Bridge, the cockpit, only because we are recording a video, this is for all guests, it happens during one day, they open in the morning and in the afternoon, and everyone can come here to visit.
It’s really interesting, everyone can come and stay here as long as they want, they can ask questions, they can sit in the captain’s chair, it’s a small ship, for few passengers, so you have this super different interaction. That’s cool indeed, isn’t it?
I will keep in charge of the ship until we get to Argentina, check it out. So, with Fábio in charge of the ship, it was two more days relaxing in the pool and the Jacuzzi to cross Drake Passage again. We arrived in Ushuaia one night in advance.
However, before that, we didn’t give up enjoying the last dinner on board. The presentation of the dishes is impeccable. In the à La Carte system, there is a starter, main course and a more than personalized dessert: check it out, the company’s swan. To close the night, how about enjoying a Tango performance?
Before we finish, you naturally want to know the price of this expedition, don’t you? Check it out: the season in Antarctica only happens in the summer, from October to March. Swan Hellenic’s package, in addition to the all-inclusive Cruise, even the tours,
Also includes a return ticket from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia, in addition to one night’s accommodation. For the 2023/2024 season, 11-night departures start at $14,092 per person. Don’t forget, leave your like for this video, share it with friends and subscribe to our channel in case you haven’t already. See you next vídeo, bye.
